Full Job Description

Your new role

As a Study Manager within our Oncology Clinical Operations team, you will be responsible for managing one or more clinical studies across the oncology portfolio of studies. The role will see you either taking the role as a global study lead or acting as a regional coordinator for the EMEA region.

The role will see you working in a broad position ranging from ensuring study milestones and deliverables are achieved; ensuring quality of data received is acceptable & suitable for regulatory submissions; ensuring studies meet ICH/GCP guidelines, regulatory standards & internal standards as well as liaising cross functionally with colleagues across the wider clinical development, regulatory and other key stakeholders within Eisai.

What are we looking for?

You will have a demonstrated track record in a Study Manager or related role within a Clinical Operations function gained in a Pharmaceutical or CRO setting. Please note this is study operations and not a clinical research based role.

You will have experience of leading international study team activities including CRO / Vendor management and collaborating cross functionally internally.

You should have proven experience of working in the field of Oncology (solid tumour) either currently or previously. This should ideally include awareness of anti-tumour therapies as well as being at ease with tools such as RECIST criteria for tumour assessment & NCI common toxicity criteria.

Previous line management experience is strongly preferred; however we will also consider candidates who can demonstrate informal experience such as mentoring etc.

What we offer in return

Eisai offers a competitive salary and excellent wider benefits package.

You will also be based from our excellent Knowledge Centre facility, which provides a great, collaborative working environment coupled with a campus feel including facilities such as restaurant, coffee shop and dry cleaning services.
