Your new role

As a Legal Director, based from Eisai’s EMEA Head Office in Hatfield, you will be responsible for providing legal advice & contract support to both the Head Office as well as support to sites across the EMEA region where there is no local legal support. The functions you may support vary across Head Office, R&D / Technical and Sales & Marketing based departments.


Some of the subject you will be involved in supporting are Employment Law, General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Commercial (Sales & Marketing) as well as taking on broader legal duties as & when required.


What are we looking for?

You will have a recognised legal qualification and demonstrated UK legal experience gained either in a broad based legal practice or working in-house. Specific experience in the Pharmaceutical or Life Science industries would be desirable but we are open to consider individuals from other industry backgrounds in which you feel you have transferable skill sets & experience.


You should have experience of working in some or all of the following:

  • Commercial based law.

  • Employment based law.

  • Data protection matters whether the Data Protection Act (or equivalent legislation in other countries) or the GDPR.
