Full Job Description

Your new role

As the Head of Safety Evaluation, you will be part of the International Pharmacovigilance Team, responsible for leading & directing the global safety evaluation & risk management activities across the globe for Eisai’s products (both clinical development & marketed).


These activities will also see the individual act as the General Safety Officer (GSO) for one or more international products.


This role also has people management responsibilities for a team of Global Drug Safety Physicians & Scientists based in the UK, with a counterpart managing the other half of the team in the US.


What are we looking for?

You will have a medical qualification (or equivalent), along with demonstrated experience gained within a pharmacovigilance or clinical development function in the Pharmaceutical industry. This should include proven competence in safety evaluation & risk management activities as well as knowledge of managing PV product activities on a global basis.


As the role holds line management responsibilities, you should also have either demonstrated previous formal line management or informal supervisory / mentoring / project people leadership experience.
