Full Job Description

Your new role

As a Data Protection Associate, you will be involved in supporting the design & implementation of the data protection and information security compliance programme across Eisai’s EMEA region.

 

This will include:

  • Design and deliver training and awareness programmes to meet specific needs of various parts of the business.

  • Embed a data privacy culture within Eisai including implement relevant ISO 27001 controls.

  • Carry out risk assessments to identify high risk processing activities, carry out Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) or review DPIAs completed by the business and make recomendations to mitigate risks.

  • Manage the breach process and carry out initial risk assessment when a breach / incident is reported.

  • Update data protection related templates.

 

What are we looking for?

You will have a qualification in a law, computer science or other discipline related to data protection (or equivalent) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (Europe) [CIPP(E)].

 

You should have demonstrated experience in a Data Protection, Compliance, Privacy or related role including the practical application of GDPR. This should include evidence of all or some of the following:

  • Undertaking data protection / information security risk assessments.

  • Vendor assessments.

  • Compliance gap analysis.

  • Data protection impact assessments.
